Ronald, known as "Smitty" by most, was born on November 19, 1950 in Washington, D.C to Donald and Jerry Smith.
Ronald was known for his quick wit, his infectious laugh, and his kind and compassionate spirit for his family and friends. He was an avid lover of country music and had a passionate love for the Washington Redskins.
Ronald is preceded in death by his father, Donald, and his mother, Jerry. His is survived by his two brothers, Kenneth and Gary, his sister, Amy, his nieces, Nicole, Reagan and Eva, his nephews, Jesse, Anthony, Evan, and Elijah, several cousins, and many friends who loved him like family.
