Roscoe DeSales Makle's Obituary
Roscoe DeSales Makle, 53, of La Plata, MD, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Georgetown University Hospital.
Born Jan. 25, 1963, he was the son of the late Howard and Catherine Makle. His surviving family members are numerous, but mainly include a loving wife Pamela; three children: Tiffany Makle, Roscoe Makle and Katrina Makle; two stepchildren: Kendra Craig and Roderick Purce Jr.; two grandchildren: Tavaun and Kaliyah; six brothers: Gary, Raymond, Donald, Paul, Earl and Clifton; a sister, Sharon; four sister-in-laws: Jackie, Linda, Hazel and Norma; and best friend, Dale Swann.
Roscoe was a man of many talents including fishing, cooking, and gardening, and he took most pleasure in spending time with his grand-kids and visiting Atlantic City. He was an avid Redskins and Lakers fan, and was also well known for his own personal basketball talents. He enjoyed managing his self-owned lawn and gardening service, and spent his free time watching the Andy Griffith show or listening to Maze and Frankie Beverly.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, June 17 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in La Plata, MD. Viewing will be from 8:30 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. Interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD, with repast immediately following.
