Steven Allen Ryce's Obituary
Steven Allen Ryce, 52, of Waldorf, passed suddenly at home with his wife by his side on August 31, 2020
Born February 1, 1968 in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Charles H. Ryce and Nancy Milloff Ryce. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sons, Jacob P. Lincoln and Adam J. Lincoln. Steve married his best friend, Carol L. Ryce, in 2004 after being together for many many years. They lived his last 17 years as best friends, husband and wife.
Steve worked in the auto mechanic trade for 25 years for several companies (Toyota of SOMD and Custom Performance Center). He also worked for Frazier's Tree Service for many years. At the time of his passing, he was a sheet metal mechanic for Adrian L. Merton, Inc.
Steve was the most wonderful, caring, loving and giving person. He made his mark on this world and on every soul he met along his journey. He would help anyone and give the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it.
Steve worked hard for his family so they could play hard, fishing, crabbing, boating, camping, building cars, anything that could be done as a family he was all for it. He loved his children with all his heart until the day his first grandchild was born which opened a whole new world of love and family fun, adding many more to the mix he had so much fun with them all. He will be loved and missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; their daughter, Dana M. Ryce, son, Dustin W. Lincoln (Melissa), Fred A. Lincoln (Stacia) and daughter, Sabrina L. Ryce; his grandchildren, Shawn, Courtney, Lucinda, Troy, Chelsey, Amelia, Lillianna, Destiny and Matthias; great grandson, Wesley; his sister, Patricia A. Ryce (Jim); nephews, Charles and Steven.
