Thomas R. Moore's Obituary
Thomas R. Moore of Temple Hills, MD died peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2018. Born in Washington, DC on on July 20, 1946 to George and Mary Moore. He was a graduate of Gwynn Park High School Class of 1964. He served in the US Army from 1966 to 1968. He retired from C&P/ Verizon after 30 years of service in 1994. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus from 1998 up until his death and was a longtime member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in Camp Springs, MD.
The beloved of husband of 52 years to Constance A. Moore; father of Angela L. Cole and Thomas R. Moore, Jr.; father-in-law of Dale Cole and Pashawna Moore. He is also survived by his five grandchildren and one great-grandchild and many other relatives and friends
Relatives and friends are invited to Tom's Life Celebration on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10 a.m. at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 5416 Henderson Way, Camp Springs, MD. Interment immediately following at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
