THOMAS WAYNE PAULK's Obituary
Thomas Wayne Paulk passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026 at the age of 80. Born November 13, 1945 in La Plata, Maryland to the late Fisher Boyd Paulk and Ruth A. Paulk, he defined himself as a true son of Maryland. For more than 50 years Wayne demonstrated his love of family as a devoted husband, a father, grandfather and uncle. Thomas Wayne was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Ann Paulk and his brother William Boyd Paulk. He is survived by his son Michael Wayne Paulk wife Amy of Stella, North Carolina, Karen Lynn Baldwin of Waldorf, Maryland, Janes Lee Baldwin of Virginia, his sister-in-law Lois Paulk of Nanjemoy, Maryland, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mary Jane Hall and James Donald Hall, his cousin Brenda Paulk Conners of Maryland He also leaves behind his grandchildren Sierra Norton and Juliann White of Waldorf, Maryland and many nieces and nephews including Renee Conner and husband Mike of Longs, North Carolina, Jerry Paulk of Maryland, James A (Tony) Hall and his wife Shayna M Hall and daughter Hailey Marie Hall of Commerce, Michigan, Christopher Edward Hall and his wife Lisa Hall and his sons Aidan Hall and Keegan Hall of Ray, Michigan. Wayne will be remembered as a man of service. He was a lifelong member of the Marbury Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He earned University degree in fire science and retired as a Federal Firefighter and served with the United States Navy in the United States and foreign assignments. Visitation ( 9am to 11am ) and funeral services at ( 11am), are planned for March 26, 2026 at Marbury Baptist Church, 4670 Bicknell Road, Marbury, Maryland. Following the services at the church there will be at 1:00 pm Gravesite commitment service at the Trinity Memorial Gardens at 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601. Finally for the service attendees there will be a repast in the fellowship center of the Marbury Baptist Church at 2:00PM Floral remembrances, donations to the Marbury Baptist Church or online contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association would be greatly appreciated. Flowers to be delivered to Marbury Baptist Church before services start 9 am.
