Virginia Mariano Carpenter's Obituary
Virginia Mariano Carpenter, 83, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 at home.
Born on May 11, 1938 in Paniqui, Tarlac, Philippines, she was the daughter of the late Agapito Mariano and Avelina Mamawal Mariano. Virginia held an associate degree, a bachelor's degree, and various management positions in her career. She enjoyed bowling on leagues and won numerous trophies.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her son, David Traudt; two brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by her children Jay Traudt and his wife Michelle Traudt, Tammy Gibson and her husband Jerry Hunt, ; grandchildren Heather Polidore and her husband Stephen Polidore, Samantha Gibson, Summer Sargent, Morgan Caywood and her husband Chase Caywood and Devin Traudt; great grandchildren Savannah Polidore and Cameron Caywood; long-time family friend Mark Oliver; and two sisters who live in the Philippines.
Service and interment will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at Trinity Memorial Gardens, 3221 Mattawoman-Beantown Road, Waldorf, Maryland 20601 with a celebration of life to follow at the Waldorf Elks Lodge #2421, 2210 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD 20601.
