Walter Edward Parker Sr.'s Obituary
Walter Edward Parker Sr of Hollywood, Maryland passed away December 16, 2023. He was born April 27, 1929 to Raymond James Parker and Susan(Tayman)Parker. He had a successful career in construction and owned his own business, Parker Door Company in Waldorf, Md. from 1961 to 1999. He was a member of The United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing, boating and traveling.
Walter is survived by his wife June Parker, his children Walter Edward Parker Jr. of Saluda, Va. June Karen Sparrow and her husband Ira of Kitty Hawk, NC., Barbara Sharon Sparrow of North Beach, Md., grandchildren Lynne, April, Michael, Kelly, Amanda, Jennifer, Teresa, Gregory, Barbara and Thomas, 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was proceeded in death by his wife Barbara Ellen Parker, his daughter Wanda Darlene Unkle, sisters Shirley Parker Ainsley, Mary Haiber and Alice Shope and brothers Charlie and Jay William Parker.
