Wayne Philip Robey's Obituary
Wayne Philip Robey, age 79, of La Plata, Maryland, passed away on April 21, 2020.
Wayne was a retired Physical Science Technician with the Naval Research Lab in Washington, D.C., having worked there for more than 35 years. He enjoyed traveling, antique collecting, and spending time with family and friends.
He was born on December 23, 1940 in La Plata, Maryland. He was son of the late George Wallace Robey and the late Dorothy T. Haislip Robey. In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his brother, George Wallace “Bub” Robey; his son-in-law, Herb Meadows; and grandson, Nicholas Robey.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife, Vera Patricia “Pat” Robey; two sons, Michael P. Robey and wife Lorri and James W. Robey and wife Katherine; one daughter, Stephanie R. Meadows; four grandchildren, Aaron Robey, Allison Vock, Casey Meadows, and Carlee Meadows; and three great-grandchildren, Saeryn Robey, Avalon Robey, and Parker Vock.
