Peacefully on Friday, September 9, 2016, William Settle departed this earthly life. He is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Mary Settle; loving children, Shawn (Ronald) Moreland, William (Khylah) Settle, Jr., Tia (Anthony) Carver; sister, Betty (Leroy) Tompkins; brother, James Settle; grandchildren, Anthony Jr., Shane, Aaron, Trey, Mauri, William III, Raell, Spencer, Ryan, Sloane and a host of other relatives and friends. Family and friends will unite on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 9:30am until time of service 11:00am at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 2409 Ainger PL SE, Washington, DC. Interment at Trinity Memorial Gardens, Waldorf, MD.
